The Boy Who Ran From God

The Boy Who Ran From God tells the story of a boy who hears God calling but runs from the responsibility attached to that calling. Errol describes someone overwhelmed by life, avoiding prayer and Scripture even while knowing the relationship still matters. The heart of the project is the grace that keeps reaching toward him. God does not stop pursuing the boy. The turning point comes when he stops running and allows himself to be found. For Errol, the story holds responsibility, forgiveness and the possibility of returning together. Released on October 31, 2022, the album contains fourteen songs, including CHAMPIONS 2.0 with DANMAR, Fusion Dance with Matrixx, 988 and TALK TO ME NICE (Interlude). The linked Journal story expands on Errol’s own explanation of the project, while the press overview connects readers with the original outside coverage.
